2018 Zone Show Information

Everything you need to know about the rules and regulations for the Zone Shows

Paintings, Digital Art, and Fibre Art Restrictions:
Outside framed measurement of each and all pieces of art can measure up to 1280 sq. inches. You are invited to submit 3 pieces of art for a price of $15 each.
All registrations for Paintings, Digital Art, and Fibre Art must be submitted to the Host Club no later than April 1 of the year of the Show.

Sculpture Restrictions:
No more than 25 pounds in weight
No larger than 20 inches by 20 inches
Made of stone, wood, bronze, jade, clay, bone, antlers, and/or precious metals
Sculptors must be a member of ACACA in good standing to enter Zone Show.
Must submit $15 fee per sculpture to Zone Show host by April 1 of the year of the show.
Sculptors will follow the rules and regulations which govern all shows put on by ACACA in the Province of Alberta. Sculptures must be free-standing.

Alberta Wide Show:
The Gallery connected to new Convention Centre / Library previous to Alberta Spirit, Drumheller, AB, July 2018
From July 4 to July 29. Opening Reception is July 13 from 6PM – 9PM.

Gallery Hours:
Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Closed most satutory holidays

80 Veterans Way, Drumheller, AB

Local delegates, media and artists in attendance. Handing out Lifetime Achievement Awards.
July 29 is a day of Awards, Annual General Meeting, lunch, Critique and release of works.

Visual Arts Alberta – CARFAC Project Space, Edmonton, AB, Aug 2 to September 29 2018
Reception is August 11 from 11AM to 3PM.

Gallery Hours:
10 to 4pm Wednesday to Friday
12 to 4pm Saturday
Closed Saturday, August 4th Civic holiday

Who We Are

The Alberta Community Art Clubs Association aims at uniting, serving and networking with artists throughout the province. Our goals are to foster and maintain instruction in art and to develop an interest in the knowledge of art and culture in the communities throughout the province.

Exhibitions

ACACA fills a unique niche in promoting the arts in the province of Alberta by sponsoring three juried art shows annually, hosted by art clubs from different communities each year.
