Exciting Opportunities for ACACA Members
The Alberta Community Art Clubs Association offers to its Clubs and Members multiple grants and one
Scholarship.
Workshop Grants Available to Club Members
Club Workshop Grant Application Form
Club Workshop Report (to be completed within 30 days of event)
*Any ACACA member or group of members that do not belong to a Club may apply for this Workshop Grant, but must be pre-approved by the Board and must follow the same Criteria as a Club.
NOTE: The Application Form must by reviewed and approved by the ACACA Executive, please review the Application form(s) carefully.
Individual Workshop Grants
Annually three (3) Grants in the amount of $400.00 is offered to the members in good standing with the ACACA. The criteria and application is published in the August ACACA Newsletter and on our website. Deadline for submissions is OCTOBER 31ST ANNUALLY.
Lillian Nunn Scholarship
This scholarship is funded by the interest portion of monies bequeathed to the Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta by the late Mrs. Lillian Nunn of Lacombe, an A.C.A.C.A. member who died in 1982. It was her request that the funds provide scholarships of not less than $300.00 to ACACA members 50 years of age or older and that the selection of the recipients be at the sole discretion of the Faculty of Extension, University of Alberta. The complete criteria and application form is published annually in the November ACACA Newsletter and on our website. Deadline for submissions is July 15th ANNUALLY.
Executive Workshop Grants
As members of the ACACA Executive and Board, you may be reimbursed up to $400 for a workshop / seminar that you have attended.
Who We Are
The Alberta Community Art Clubs Association aims at uniting, serving and networking with artists throughout the province. Our goals are to foster and maintain instruction in art and to develop an interest in the knowledge of art and culture in the communities throughout the province.
Exhibitions
ACACA fills a unique niche in promoting the arts in the province of Alberta by sponsoring three juried art shows annually, hosted by art clubs from different communities each year.
