About The ACACA

Promoting the arts in the province of Alberta

About

The Alberta Community Art Clubs Association aims at uniting, serving and networking with artists throughout the province. Our goals are to foster and maintain instruction in art and to develop an interest in the knowledge of art and culture in the communities throughout the province.

Created in 1968 under the direction of Professor Harry Wohlfarth from the Faculty of Extension, University of Alberta, ACACA holds Charitable Status, and all donations over $10 dollars receive a tax receipt. Financial support for the ACACA and sponsored projects is provided through membership fees, donations and grants from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Alberta Community Development, and the Visual Arts Alberta Association.
