Current ACACA Zone Show Information

Everything you need to know about the rules and regulations for the Zone Shows

Paintings, Digital Art, and Fibre Art Restrictions:
Outside framed measurement of each and all pieces of art can measure up to 1280 sq. inches. You are invited to submit 3 pieces of art for each category, for a price of $15 each.
All registrations for Paintings, Digital Art, and Fibre Art must be submitted to the Host Club no later than April 15th of the year of the Show.

Sculpture Restrictions:
No more than 25 pounds in weight
No larger than 20 inches by 20 inches
Made of stone, wood, bronze, jade, clay, bone, antlers, and/or precious metals
Sculptors must be a member of ACACA in good standing to enter Zone Show.
Must submit $15 fee per sculpture to Zone Show host by April 15th of the year of the show.
Sculptors will follow the rules and regulations which govern all shows put on by ACACA in the Province of Alberta. Sculptures must be free-standing.

Note: Memberships were due February 29th, 2024.  However, online payments are still accepted until March 25th, 2024 only, to be eligible to enter in this years Zone Show.  Registrations for your art need to be mailed to the host club no later than April 1st, 2024.

Who We Are

The Alberta Community Art Clubs Association aims at uniting, serving and networking with artists throughout the province. Our goals are to foster and maintain instruction in art and to develop an interest in the knowledge of art and culture in the communities throughout the province.

Exhibitions

ACACA fills a unique niche in promoting the arts in the province of Alberta by sponsoring three juried art shows annually, hosted by art clubs from different communities each year.
